We normally hear the word religion almost like everyday in our life, our life runs by this very word, in fact our very existence seems to be because of it...but are we confined to the word religion?? Is our freedom of thought, act or speech bound or restricted by religion???
Religion by and far is defined or has been defined as a set of beliefs that one follows, ones faith in the supernatural or divine unexplained forces, but is a religion followed under pure freedom or is it because of the fear of isolation ,still remains the big question.
But to answer this would be like to question the practises put forward and followed by our ancestors, their thoughts, their religious beliefs which has been passed on from generation to generation, and if anyone does...it would be considered blasphemy...but the necessity to question arises because we have become dependent on religion..we try to find reasons for our wrong doings from religion , and give vague answers that our misdeeds would be forgiven...but isn’t this like testing God’s patience over and over again...and covering up our faults and shoving them under the carpet called religion?
Religion has blinded us from being human..it has made us forget our humane side, in the name of religion people kill, in the name of religion they commit horrendous acts and seek all sought of justifications, in the name of religion people forget to love and in all this we forget it is us, we humans who created religion ...
Losing love, fearing to love only because you belong to a certain religion ,caste or creed doesn’t make sense....because to love the only thing needed is a loving heart...and to be morally right and to do what is right we don’t need to be religious...the only thing needed is a pure heart.....A world without religion, without fear of losing someone to the name of religion is a world we can only dream about but its not a dream that is impossible .....
Are we bounded and blinded by religion? practically speaking YES but is it the only way to look at the religion NO religion as very well explained by you is the set of beliefs , practices people follow over a period of time. But were these people writing something that is not truth ? Isn't the religion still relevant today? Don't people refer to the bible and gita written thousands and thousands years back . Dont these texts really solve us in our problems. These texts are way forward looking and are actually written by the most learned people history as produced and somehow science hasnt gone that far to actually proove them wrong or right.

killing or even harming a person is against the basic nature of any religion. What every religion wants is peace and harmony among all and considers every human being as special, so any practice used to discriminate and hurt people is actually against religion .

ReplyDeletelets start with stone age when human was evolved from apes . at that time there was no word as religion but over the centuries it has been created and practiced. as per i believe that it all started when human thought that wat happen to us when we die? so they thought that there is some supernatural power that govern this world and has control over each n every thing and started to giving statements that "god has done this" for every unanswered question. later on it was used to keep people in fear of someone who were out of control of the mass and doing things that harm the common interest. but over the years they felt that there is actually someone who is governing and then they started forming god. it was all to make the life more meaningful and it showed how to live a life. it is all about Nirvana- the ultimate satisfaction. i'll give u two very real life example one is Gautam Buddha.. who started buddism. he was a son a king and his actual name is Siddharth Gautam. he is god for many people and other is Sai Baba. they both are real life examples to many ppl. what they said was that a human is forgetting the purpose of living day by day for that we need a proper path to reach our destination of Nirvana. religions are just the different path to reach there. they are just a set of rules and believes. the real purpose of religion is vanished just bcoze we only altered it tym to tym for our connivance. and now we are writing a new religion called HATE.
i'm nt questioning d existence of god...wt i'm tryn 2 point out is d dependence v hv...hw 2 make a descion or wteva descion v make...v hardly trust it...or v say lets leav it up 2 gos...blame on god..evrythn on god.....hw v end up killn pple in d name f tat same god....

rashel i'm also trying to show u picture from other side.... it is when i say god exists then there is someone who keeps account of ur good n bad things. i think everyone here knows that non of the religion teach us to kill and then say it in the name of god but people are practicing it and this wat i'm saying that we are writing a new religion called HATE. it's just personal grudge that is leading us to this situation. there is one saying "for the trump of the evil the only thing necessary is for the good man to do nothing."
